I'm now retired and, hopefully, my medical situations are now a thing of the past. I've had two rounds of cancer in the last four years, one prostate and one a parotid (sp?) gland under my left jaw. The first was found by carefully having my PSA checked every year (guys, it really pays, they caught mine before it spread and I've not needed any further therapy, chemical nor radiation). The other one was found when I went to the periodontist concerning an infected tooth that needed extracting; again, it appears to have been caught before it could spread.

On the family side, we've had a couple cats die and a couple more come into our lives, so we have as many as ever. Quite loving, too, excellent bed warmers in winter but rather warm in summer.

In any case, I'm back now and hope to be more active here in the future.
