Hey, everyone. It's been a loooooong while.

While I've been gone doing very time-consuming things, such as college, and work, I've been neglecting FurAffinity. Simply because i haven't had the time to sit down and commit to any drawing or writing of notes.

And in the several LONG months of leaving fA practically unattended... I came back to see a bunch of new notes in my inbox. Hoo boy.

And over this time of practically no art, and abstention of FA, I came to the realization that the reason that I don't ever get around to the requests I owe, is because when I do get around to the request and start drawing... I realize halfway through that I'm really not going to get anything out of completing it, other than actually saying that I did it just to get the looming requester off my back. And as liberating as it is to have that weight off my back, Its not healthy for me to have this mentality when making art. I get into a cycle of feeling like I'm wasting my time, then hating myself for wasting said time, then I don't draw because I'm in a shitty, non-creative mindset, which reminds me of the same weight i feel when I open up a new request... and they cycle continues and continues until I feel like I'm gonna cry about it. (Or I actually cry about it and don't talk about it.)

So, In order to break this cycle, I'm changing a few things about my requests. And Accounts. And many things. And I'll conveniently list them here for you so you can count them down with me.

1.) ChivoSuave IS NOW GOING TO BE COMMISSION ACCOUNT.

Which means REQUESTS WILL NO LONGER BE TAKEN ON THIS ACCOUNT, PAST OCTOBER 31st, 2018. If you request, I will delete the note and forget about it. This account will no longer be the place to make requests.

If you were only following this account only for the chance of getting a request from me, you might want to unwatch. Because this account will change to a commissions only/self-made art. But stick around to the end of this journal, you might still be lucky enough to get one.

2.) Completed requests, and past requests are going to be posted/moved to  ChivoCansado

Now that this is a commission account, I just don't want it to be cluttered with art that isn't 100% mine. This move is being made solely for organization's sake.

3.) Requests will be completed, but at my own time and leisure.

I was a busy goat then, and I'm still a busy goat now. I'd be lying if I said that I would commit to a schedule to fulfill requests all year long, it's simply never going to happen. So, I had the idea of doing little warm-up requests before my commissions, based on what I feel like doing. To both simultaneously give me practice and complete the hella long list that I've acquired over the past, what, 2+ years now? (Yikes)

Its been a VERY long time since then. And I KNOW I forgot some requests. So, and I'll make this really big text, so everybody gets this:

MY REQUEST LIST CLOSES OCTOBER 31st, 2018. ANY REQUESTS THAT I GET ON THIS ACCOUNT PAST THAT DATE WILL BE IGNORED.

THIS OFFER IS FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE. IF YOU HAD AN OLD REQUEST AND DIDN'T MESSAGE ME BEFORE THE CUT-OFF, YOU WILL GO LAST ON THE LIST.

Any more nasty comments, badgering, and/or overall pestering of me about your request past the date will result in a cancellation of your request. If I tell you that I got your note, then it’s on my list. I will get around to it at my own pace. If I choose to not take yours, it’s either because what you requested is past my limits as an artist, or because it doesn’t fit the request criteria.

As soon as I post this, I will start moving my old requests over to my second account, and start writing down names on the list. New requests will be Black and White, traditional art, 1 page, with 2 characters maximum. If you want more? Pay for it. Art Trades are an exception to this rule, message me if you're interested.
