What do you like best about Novi AMS?

Novi is more than just software; it is a community of associations who are all welcoming, collaborative, and willing to share their insights. What has stood out to us since the beginning, including during onboarding (2019), is the level of customer support they provide and how responsive and supportive the team is. Anytime I’ve had a question or needed help, they’ve been quick to jump in and make sure things get resolved. I also really appreciate the community of other associations using Novi; it’s welcoming, collaborative, and a great place to learn from peers.

The software itself is reliable, with strong features and robust reporting that make our work easier. We can configure a multitude of features to fit the specific needs of our association, rather than feeling boxed into a one-size-fits-all model. All features and updates are included in the price with no upselling or "nickel and dime"-ing. It’s very clear that Novi listens: our feedback actually shows up in product updates, which come regularly and make a real difference in how we use the system and can serve our members.

We've easily integrated with multiple other vendors for a robust connection of data and varying levels of member access to a variety of resources.

Their pricing is transparent and worth every penny (and then some). It was a noticeable increase in cost from our previous AMS, but Novi is an absolute game changer. It changed the course of my own career; I used to spend a good amount of time manually entering accounting transactions into QBO, but since implementing Novi I've had the opportunity to focus on strategic initiatives vs. administrative support.

Novi is critical to our Association's success. Most staff are in it every day, and it successfully serves as our 'source of truth' for all operations. I cannot imagine using another AMS again, and I don't anticipate we'll ever need to! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Novi AMS?

There is nothing I truly dislike about Novi. I would say a challenge of ours that has to do with our own capacity, is staying abreast of the features from releases. I've never opened Novi and felt 'lost,' but there have been times when we've realized that a feature that has already been released could improve our own workflow. Novi publishes easy-to-read release notes, hosts webinars on big releases, has a plethora of helpful support articles, and is incredibly easy to get ahold of for questions. What do you like best about Novi AMS?

What I like most about Novi is that it just makes my life easier. Everything’s in one place — membership info, events, billing, all of it — and it actually makes sense the way it’s set up. I don’t feel like I’m fighting the system to get things done. Plus, their team is always super responsive and helpful when I have questions. It’s clear they actually care about the people using it. Honestly, it was a little overwhelming at first just because there’s so much packed into the system. It took me a bit to get used to where everything was and how it all connects. What do you like best about Novi AMS?

We absolutely love using Novi! The management side is incredibly easy to use, and the seamless integration with our website has made a huge difference. Our members appreciate being able to log in, view and pay invoices, and register for events without any hassle.

The professional look and functionality of our website has been a game changer, and internally, the ability to run detailed reports, set up groups and committees, and sync with Constant Contact has streamlined so much of our work.

One of the biggest time-savers for us has been the QuickBooks integration. Before Novi, we had to enter payments into our CRM and then again into QuickBooks—now it’s all done automatically, and it’s made our workflow much more efficient.

The help that we receive from the webinars, office hours, intercom and help articles is invaluable!

There’s not much to complain about with Novi, but the biggest challenge we face is understanding the specific terminology used—like needing to search for “shipping address” instead of “physical address”—which can make finding help articles or setting up features like events and reports a bit tricky. What do you like best about Novi AMS?

Novi is very user friendly and easy to learn. You don't have to be a website designer or even a marketing guru to use it. I love that it integrates with other platforms, especially QuickBooks and Mailchimp. The support is also amazing. They are very responsive and always so helpful. You never feel like you are bothering you. They truly care about helping you success and making your job easier. What do you like best about Novi AMS?

It’s incredibly user-friendly, easy to navigate, and customizing features is simple. The implementation process was seamless, and their support team is outstanding — always quick and helpful.

We use Novi daily — it’s truly the central hub for everything we do. From member management to communication, it keeps everything organized and running smoothly. Plus, our users love it and constantly rave about how easy it is to use.

What do you dislike about Novi AMS?

While we really enjoy using Novi, there are a few small challenges we've run into. Some features can be a bit hard to find, especially when we don’t use them often — even though we know they exist (thanks to the awesome free training classes!).

Occasionally, the naming or labeling of certain things isn’t as intuitive as we'd like, which makes it tricky to remember exactly where to go to complete a task or what that particularly means.

That said, we appreciate that the support and training are always there when we need a refresher. Just a bit more intuitive labeling or a quick-access guide would make a great product even better! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Novi AMS?

I think there are too many limitations and things that we cannot get to work for our needs. I am new to my company, I started in May 2025. They Got Novi in January of 2025.
