"Customizable Dashboard That Makes Team Collaboration Easy"
What do you like best about Wrike?

I like being blessed to collaborate with my co-workers about tasks. I like that the dashboard is customizable. I always have some tasks that Information Technology holds me up on, so I put some tasks in this box via a tag so that I don't forget about them in the meantime.

There are a couple of things we have yet to take advantage of. There appears to be an integration with Microsoft Power Automate to automate some tasks. However, the documentation on how to do this is somewhat lacking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

This may be because we don't understand the tool well enough, but it's difficult when you have attachments in one step of a projects. You have to remember to move or copy them to the next step. Many of my teammates forget to do this so it takes me extra time to go find the attachments I need to work on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible Workflow Customization, APIs, and Automation That Streamline PMO Work"
What do you like best about Wrike?

Wrike is one of those softwares that provide user with the flexibility to customize workflows, add custom fields & confirgure the same for reporting without intervention from Support team. The customization help to cater to company specific & department specific requirements. The easy to configure APi's also help in connecting to our internal systems, which also help in using Wrike as a single source of truth for all pMO activties. The automations option also helps in building triggers to provide attention to movement in workflows Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

To activate the custom fields, you need to raise aticket, while the intent is understood, atleast company asmin should have access to this. This results in raising support tickets just to activate the fields without any checks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful campaign and launch tracking, but a steep learning curve"
What do you like best about Wrike?

The tool helps us track how many campaigns we have planned and currently running in order to properly plan so we can better set our expectations. Wrike helps us track product launches as well. There is a ton of customizability within that each department can set up their space as they need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

The learning curve can be quite steep. We have a few people on our team who still struggle with it. If your projects aren't set up properly, it can become tedious to fix. If it wasn't for custom dashboards, we'd have a hard time staying organized within the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Truly Cross-Functional Tool for Team Management, Internal and External Reviews"
What do you like best about Wrike?

I like the visual layout which is similar to other brand-name PM software products I have used throughout my career (I find Wrike to be a huge improvement to Basecamp, kind of like Trello in the array of layouts you can use, and really similar visually/functionally to ClickUp and Teamwork). Wrike was really easy to pick up and learn when I started this role. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

I don't love the email notification function; as the Account Lead/Project Manager for my projects, I seem to get a lot of Wrike-related emails, more than I could ever read in one lifetime and it's not immediately clear how to turn them off for certain tasks or actions. Maybe I just haven't had enough free time to explore my settings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Couldn't live without it!"
What do you like best about Wrike?

It's easy to use and allows us to stay on top of projects. I love the dashboard feature, and working within the projects is straightforward. Our company switched from a competitor, and Wrike was definitely the better choice. I don't see how companies could stay on top of projects without it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

I wish the request forms were more built out and easier to create. Dating tasks and subtasks can be confusing on the dashboard view when working with a date range. I also find sorting projects from oldest to newest to not always work the way I think it should. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralizing allocation and task management for smoother operations"
What do you like best about Wrike?

What I like most is that Wrike gives us a simple place to keep work organized without overcomplicating things. It makes it easier to see what’s active, what needs attention, and where things might be slowing down. It’s not perfect, but it helps the team stay more structured and reduces some of the usual back-and-forth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

Sometimes it takes more clicks than I expect to get to something simple, and finding older stuff isn’t always quick. If people don’t keep things updated, you still end up asking around anyway. It works, but it’s not always as smooth as I’d like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Project Organization with Forms, Custom Fields, and Automation"
What do you like best about Wrike?

I can organize projects and tasks so nothing gets lost or forgotten. Forms, custom item types, custom fields, folders, and automation all help me keep my team organized, aligned, and working efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

I dislike that, since I’m only a space administrator, I can’t customize my default workflow or task type. Those changes can only be made at the admin level. I also dislike that I can’t create the blueprint automations I need. In addition, I’d like the ability to plug in a standard “your project is closed” message when I complete an intake form for a project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Wrike Keeps Projects, Tasks, and Team Collaboration Perfectly Organized"
What do you like best about Wrike?

Wrike is a useful tool for managing projects and working together as a team. It keeps tasks, files, and conversations in one place, which makes collaboration easier and more organized. Team members can comment on tasks, tag each other, and share updates without switching between tools. This helps reduce confusion and keeps everyone on the same page. You can also clearly see who’s responsible for what and how work is progressing.Wrike works well for both small tasks and larger projects because it’s flexible and customizable. It may take a little time to get used to at first, but once set up, it supports smooth and consistent teamwork.Overall, Wrike is a good option for teams that want clear communication, better collaboration, and more control over their projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

nothing, so far I have loved it but they can improve their UI as that will be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A robust, flexible project management platform that scales well with complex teams"
What do you like best about Wrike?

One thing I’ve increasingly appreciated is how well Wrike supports cross-functional collaboration at scale. As projects have grown more complex, the ability to structure work using folders, spaces, and custom fields has made it much easier to keep visibility without losing control. Reporting and dashboards have also become more valuable over time, once properly set up, they provide a clear, real-time view of progress and bottlenecks, which is especially useful for stakeholder updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

While Wrike is very powerful, it can still feel heavy for simpler use cases. New users often need guidance to avoid over-engineering workflows early on. Some actions also require more clicks than expected, particularly when editing multiple tasks or fields in bulk. The mobile experience has improved slightly, but it still doesn’t fully match the desktop version in terms of speed and ease of use for managing detailed tasks on the go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Karilla Dyer of Wrike

Thanks for such a detailed and thoughtful review!

It’s great to hear how much you value Wrike’s flexibility with different project views and how features like task dependencies, automations, and in-task collaboration have helped streamline your team’s communication. Having everything in one place really does make a difference, especially when you’re managing multiple projects and stakeholders.

I totally get what you mean about the interface feeling a bit overwhelming, especially for new users. If you haven’t already, you might find it helpful to create custom dashboards or hide some of the advanced features your team doesn’t use as often—this can make things feel a bit less cluttered. For the mobile app, Wrike is always working on improvements, but in the meantime, setting up shortcuts to your most-used spaces or views can help make navigation a little easier.

As for notifications, it’s definitely worth taking a few minutes to fine-tune your settings so you only get the alerts that matter most to you. If you need a hand with that, I can point you to a quick guide or some best practices.

If you have any other suggestions for making Wrike even better, or want to swap tips for onboarding new team members, just let me know. Thanks again for sharing your experience and insights!

"Great product for small team's sprint planning - using multiple collaboration projects, personal planning projects, Automations"
What do you like best about Wrike?

We onboarded close to 3 projects on Wrike - special projects, L2 projects, and L3 projects. The ability for developers to add bugs directly in Parking lots when there is a bug we find - and every now and then we combine to address the bugs that are open or feature requests as we have bandwidth.

We update and close the features when development is done and the email alerts help us stay on top. The automations on fields are also something we are exploring. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

There is limited use of AI to improve workflows or AI based templates to get started.

The alerting or weekly reports will be a good option so that I do not lose track of some projects.

Alerting on open items will be helpful every week or biweekly.

Weekly productivity score for teammates will be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Karilla Dyer of Wrike

We're glad to hear that you're enjoying the ability to create separate projects and track progress, as well as the features like Parking Lots, In Progress, and Complete. We understand that the UI can be overwhelming with so many options, and we're continuously working on improving the user experience.
