Matt "Donkey Kong Country - Game Guide - Cheats, Codes, How to Unlock Everything - Modes, Photographs, Stages, 50 Lives - SNES, GBA"
All of that on 9 pages? An ambitious aim!

Manny That's what it says here. Would Shafi Choudhury lie to us?

message 3: by Matt (new)

Matt Nah, not Shafi Choudhury. The number of pages is just "estimated":
The estimated length is calculated using the number of page turns on a Kindle, using settings to closely represent a physical book.
So the estimated length is a function of the number of page turns. Unfortunately they don't say which function.

Manny Hasn't someone written a book yet on the religious allegory of Donkey Kong Country? If not, it's badly overdue. What do the bananas mean, exactly?

Matt I wish I knew. Maybe this picture gives us a lead?

Manny I thought about it, but I do not believe that either of them is intended to represent the Buddha. Your guess is as good as mine.

Manny I see I am even more ignorant about banana theology than I had imagined.

Matt What about Pastafarianism and the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster?

Manny I am somewhat better informed about Pastafarianism. Arrrrr!

Some very astute political analysis there. Peter Jackson is evidently just one piece of a much larger picture.
