This book was pretty good, didn't really expect that. I enjoyed it alot and will be continuing with the series!
Elena was quite annoying, and the insta-love was just ridiculous, but I found myself being able to look past that.
I feel like the series is only going to get better, I hope that's the case :)

the series definitally gets better! Personally my favorite books in this series are The Vampire Diaries: The Return (kinda like a part 2 of the series). There are a lot of books tho, so you'll have to bite through! :)

I found her insta-love ridiculous too. I mean, It was a great book, kinda forcing myself to finish but it was ok. But how can you just decide right there that you are going to die or kill for a guy you don't know. I can't usually say this but I love the TV show much more than the books in this case, sadly.
i love this review haha. the only reason i enjoyed the book was because i love the show! i went into it making fun of the characters and dialogue, but i ended up really enjoying it :)
Omg the insta love was a total ICK for me 🤮
