This has been on my tbr pile for ages! I must get a copy. I also have the same 1001 books, it`s a great reference :-)

I had a problem with a window salesman who would ring my doorbell and knock on the front door religiously once a month. I told him several months that I was not interested. Then knowing his distinctive knock I stopped answering. This had gone on for about three years. For some reason I got pissed one day and ran down to answer the door and told him no once more. He looked at me weirdly and said thanks. I realized I was in the middle of dressing and only had on briefs.
I am about nine months knock free, LOL!

I use a book like that too, I find it useful to broaden my horizons. Time to pull this one off the shelf!

I also read Uncle Tom's Children earlier this month and it was a 5 star winner.
Just this week I finished Savage Holiday. I have a few more on reserve at my local library."
I agree!!!
I just added Savage Holiday to my "to read" list.
