it was amazing
bookshelves: ebook-owned, finished-2016, purch2016-other, recom-other, sff-fantasy, finished-2017
Read 3 times. Last read November 9, 2021.

This is delightful. It's funny and sad and full of lessons we on this real Earth should take notice of. I enjoyed it so much I started over again when I finished. Thanks to Sharon Lee for the recommendation.

Janice I think some of Janet Kagan's books have just come back into print (well, ebook). I think I want to read some. :)

It's really sad that there are so few books and stories. She had so much potential, so much talent. Mirabile is a lift to my heart, no matter how often I read them. Hellspark is more of a challenge, but so fascinating, so much detail she created for so many different human-type worlds and customs.

Long time ago post, but did you ever look into Kagan's books? I hope you did, they're worth finding.
