author: he's dark and brooding and his green eyes are brilliant and his abs are so ripped and his skin is so tan

I actually like this series but I’m laughing sooo hard lmfaooooo this is all so valid
I really didn’t like the first book or the second book all that much but the rest of the series is actually pretty good.

My theory is that for a lot of people, this series really hits the “guilty pleasure” spot - as in, it’s not amazing quality but it still makes you feel warm and fuzzy (and entertained).
It just didn’t work on me because I hate Mary Sues, and Daemon is one. 😞
