Undone by Karin Slaughter is a 2009 Delacorte Press publication.

This third book in the Will Trent series creates a link with the Grant County series by introducing Sara Linton to the series.

Sara is from Grant County, but has relocated to Atlanta following the death of her husband. She meets Faith and Will at the hospital when Faith has a fainting spell, but soon finds herself embroiled in the case Will and Faith are working on.

Several women who have been tortured or are missing has Faith and Will working overtime, while dealing with their own personal demons and various disabilities. A lot happens in this installment and like the first two in the series, this one had me on the edge of seat the entire time I was reading it. But, now that I have settled into the series a little more, I find myself becoming quite involved with Will and Faith’s personal lives, as well as the case at hand.

I love complicated and flawed characters and Will is one of those types that tugs at my emotions. This time around I got so frustrated with him and Angie, I wanted to throw the book across the room. Seriously, I had to take a break for a while and calm down.

But the crime drama was absolutely insane! The last quarter of the book hits you with one Shockwave after another, leaving feeling almost weak with exhaustion. Good stuff!

Overall, I’d say this book deserves the old five- star treatment. Can’t wait for the next book in the series!

Mike Great review, Julie. I can see you getting strongly invested in these characters but I don't think throwing the book actually knocks any sense into them.

Looking forward to when you tackle the next!

LOL! No, the characters don't really care what I think. Thanks, Mike!
