I was so absolutely disappointed with this book. With all the hype I thought it might actually be something good but surprised at how much bull was in it! I am feeling so sad about the people that have bought into this bag of bull because they must be in a very desperate place to find themselves and if this is what helps them well, I just cannot imagine the insanity.

Seriously! If you want to be told that EVERYONE (including yourself) is Schitzo, posessed and unconsciouss well, then read the book. For anyone that has a bone of logic in their body - don't bother - you'll see the flaws very easily! There are so many factual flaws in this book that I'm surprised that it has become as popular as it has. I cannot say enough about how stupid this book is but Eckhart and Oprah would just say that my time of awakening is not at this moment and that is why I did not completely surrender to it!

Also kids, just because an ounce of it might proove to be true does not mean the whole thing is, please look at it with a bit more of an intelligent eye!

Scott Worden Well said. This book is garbage plain and simple. People need to stick with the Bible. This trash just confuses people more.

Jeff Youngblood The bigger the lie, the more people will believe it. Part of the success of this book is people are desparate for answers, and the books asks us to "empty" ourselves, basically, of everything that constitutes self, including the defenses like logic. People buy it because it breaks down the defense and then promises false hope. It's just another in a long line of delusional self help gurus. The guy is crackpot. IT makes me sad so many are reading this garbage. I couldn't take it seriously at all after reading the preface.

Traci Lawrence What a review! What honesty! Excellent!

And just because you don't think it's garbage, doesn't mean it isn't. And jesus never said the kingdom was inside all of us, he was talking to a specific audience- His disciples- those who followed him and believed in him.

Mike This book has been life-changing for me. Are you lost?

Ay What a dumb review. You don't even state what these "flaws" are.

omniviolet you don’t like the book—fine. the fact that you feel the need to judge others is telling of something else entirely. i’m sorry you feel the need to react so harshly. this book helps me manage my disorders and ground myself. and i know it has done the same for others. it’s evident that you cannot imagine the insanity. you don’t seem to be willing to try to imagine it; aka to empathize. being stuck in your head, identifying with all of your thoughts, not knowing there is any other way to exist—i experienced it for 22 years and it WAS insanity. this book freed me from that. again, it wasn’t for you—that much is clear. no need to be so judgmental though.

Swapping one type of trash for another isn't going to help anyone.

I'm if you felt like my review was judgemental of you personally. I do believe there are better sources out there to get help than this book. I am glad you feel like it's helped you manage your disorders - however again, I think there are possibly better answers than this book to help you out there and I hope you can find people, and books that can provide better and more supportive help.

lol okay. Well, since I have tried to forget as much about this book as possible - then I cannot really remember specifics to state the flaws... so you got me there. It's totally dumb. Glad you felt the need to comment on it twice.
