Well written, but I didn't know this was part of a trilogy -- I thought there were just sequels. So I was disappointed to see it end on a cliffhanger. I also didn't realize it was so dark -- there was hardly an ounce of fun in the whole book. It was just emergency after emergency. Maybe if I had known what I was getting into, I would have liked it better.
