Five Years Gone is my first read by Marie Force! Idk if I want rate this book at 3 stars or 4 so don’t be surprised if I change it afterwards


Ava Lucas story is so sad & also so devastating, 21-year women finds herself in new city & not really knowing anyone, somehow finds the love of her life. Or so her young heart things! Ava is also that girl who is seeking independence from her overbearing family at college the farthest away from home…… Lil does she know that decision of being so far from home might come back to bite her

John is special forces & is deployed overseas due to severe tragedy cuz by terrorists…John willing or unwilling leaves Ava living in torturous state of limbo for just over 5 years

Eric Tilden, is the son of the New York governor & saint in my eyes…
Eric also has very devastating sad past, & due to that fact insecurities issues with women

How can I put this so that I don’t discourage people from disliking this read? 📖

Few times I had to put the book down & just walk away, Cuz at times Ava was a bit annoying with her content crying & whining … if not for so many pages lost to Ave’s whining, I would have scored this book higher

Another thing that bug the shit out me about Ava was, she had amazing man right next her & she was luck as heck that man didn’t walk away, but yet she?
Now with all that said & done about me feeling on Ava – Yes I’m whining about whining- Lol I really am curious about reading more about John West & his side of things ….. So don’t be surprised to see me reading (One Year Home)


Would I recommend this book: Maybe
Would I re-read this book: Maybe later.
Would I read future books by this author: Yes.
