I love these books and this is my favourite so far. I already knew Jude was fabulous but here we get Asa plus Billy and Amos. Amos is what we describe up here in Yorkshire as a character.
“Never met a good mood he couldn’t spoil.”
This book was great and my favourite lines.
“Is he wearing a flat cap?” I hiss.
“Ssh,” Jude whispers back....
“He wanted to wear it.”
“I’m quite shocked. Will Joseph be keeping whippets?”
This just floored me and with a trapped nerve in my hip at the moment it wasn’t funny.

There were several passages that I found really hilarious but I feel for you : it really couldn't have been nice to laugh in your condition.I hope you will get better very soon, Deborah **big hugs**

Thanks Christelle I’m a lot better now. And yes the book was hilarious in places.
And just to show what an idiot I am....I moved onto another funny book 🙄🙄🙄
