My YouTube Review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHC1F...
Pascal took his arguments seriously and for that he earns my ultimate respect. The "New Atheists" have noticeably not read his full work (especially that of his "Wager") because the very criticisms they pose against it are rebutted, or at the very least, addressed a page after it is denounced. Effectively, Pascal does not argue we should just believe because we may be right in a lottery of thought; but he argued that if we are not to do so, we must, in the very strictest sense, ensure we are able to justify such confidence of thought. I am further disappointed with the "New Atheists" for strawmanning Pascal's central argument.
The arguments for Christianity within this piece are not to be dismissed, for they carry with them great reasonable expression. He tackles many different sides of the arguments for and against theism which is highly admirable - much like Nietzsche, his ideas clearly had integrity regardless of whether in the end either of them were correct in their analysis.

Michel Houellebecq opened his recent article with a quote from this one. Possibly of more interest to GC McKay as you are yet to dive into Houellebecq? https://unherd.com/2021/06/the-narcis...
