bookshelves: alpha-male

OMYW. Penny, a 20-year-old, red-headed, gorgeous, college student attracts the attention of multiple guys. You know the type of girl that is drop-dead beautiful but doesn't seem to know it. Although she has many choices, she hooks up with her hotter than hell professor. James Hunter, the professor, is also an alpha-male billionaire. The heat between them is off the charts. The awesome story-line got me through this book. I almost didn't finish because of Penny's character. I understand Penny is a young, naive college student. However, her inner dialogue was so extremely annoying-to me- that I almost didn't finish reading the book. It's questionable if I will continue the series. There are two more installments, but I don't know if I can handle any more Penny. If you love this genre, I do recommend it. I burned through the pages; I just had to stop and note every time Penny did or said something stupid.

Sabrina Newlon I agree with you about Penny, but James in a way reminds me of Christian Grey in 50 shades....this whole book does to to me. I'm only finishing this series is because I can't get enough of James hunter hehe. I feel like I have a huge crush on him myself.

It's good to know others find Penny annoying. I haven't read 50 shades to make a comparison between Christian and James. The chemistry was amazing enough to carry me through the series.
