Tessa Bailey writes steam and dirty talk like no one else. I got my needs met and more with The Runaway Girl. Jason is one of many reasons why I enjoy a Tessa Bailey book. Grumpy, tattooed, kind hearted and a very dirty mouth. Yes please. He wooed me big time. Naomi needed to rediscover herself, new adventures and she certainly got those thanks to Jason and his sister Birdy. They were so much fun.
Naomi and Jason had palpable and jump off the page chemistry. Naomi started out as molded mannequin thanks to her parents but evolved and took charge of her own needs and destiny.
The story was fast paced and maybe too insta lust for my usual liking but here I didn’t care.
I had such a great time reading The Runaway Girl thanks to three amazing characters.
