so you guys were really not lying when you said this book was amazing, huh?

i tend to get really skeptical of highly rated books or highly promoted books on social media... ie: people we meet on vacation 👎

However, The Love Hypothesis is hands-down a top 10 most favorite read of mine this year. i consumed this book in one day and i am already tempted to reread it. this book is phenomenal. i seriously enjoyed every single chapter so much.

the fake dating trope is one of my favorites and this book did not disappoint. i love the originality among the STEM fields both characters resided in. Ali Hazelwood completely knocked it out of the park. i still can’t believe this is her debut book. it is so amazing and adorable that i constantly have flashbacks to various scenes in this book.

another thing i love is the slight character development of both individuals. Olive was amazing, so smart, so funny, just so adorable and she got more and more confident in herself and her ability to speak publicly. Dr. Adam Carlsen is perfection. i don’t think i can love a fictional character more than him. his moody, brooding ways but he was a complete teddy bear when he was with Olive. i loved that we got an insight to his past struggles and his goal to make his students the best scientists they can be.

i tend to love my incredibly toxic, dark, sociopathic fictional characters but i love reading about truly amazing characters that i wish were real.

Dr. Carlsen and Olive are literally everything i want in a relationship. the respect, the trust, the ability to love and care for each other was absolutely out of this world. this is truly one of my favorite books ever this year and i couldn’t be more happy i got a chance to read it. i recommend lots of books to many people but this is the one book i want everyone to experience!
