Kaloyana wrote: "I agree, but why so many stars? :))"Two reasons: I’m an easy grader, and it held my attention.
I agree with 3 stars because it was well written but I didn't like much else about the book. With the exception of Judson, I didn't like or care about any of the characters. Hopefully the next installment will be better. I read that this us the first book of a series.

Good review Dan!"
No, not Cruise. Ambrose is younger than Russ. Ambrose wouldn't fit at all. The fact Ambrose is younger is important, because Russ feels superior to him because of his age. That is one reason why he feels so deeply humiliated by Ambrose and hates him so much.
Well done. I enjoyed reading it but wanted to call bullshit many times. Thank he should’ve tried to get inside some of these minds. Ridiculous.

The story reminded me of the “Simpsons” episode where Reverend Lovejoy is jealous because his parishioners like the new young minister, Bodhi, better. At least Reverend Lovejoy retreated to his model trains and didn’t have an affair.

Elyse, I think an animated series might best capture the melodrama. If live actors and not animations, how about Adam Driver for Russ and Tom Cruise for Ambrose?
