Patience by Lark Taylor is the first book in her new Damned Connections linked standalones series. This is Ferry and Leo's story. Whilst you don't need to have read the author's Reckless Damned series to enjoy this one, it is highly recommended that you do, because of the crossover of characters and storylines - sooo many cameos in this one!

This is a paranormal romance between a fallen angel, now demon, Ferry, the Ferryman of the river Styx (aka the Grim Reaper/Charon) and his human Leo, who have been fated mates for over 4000 years. Except Leo doesn't remember any of his 68 previous lives, or Ferry, or any of the other supernaturals he's encountered, and on top of that he thinks he's straight and has no idea trouble is following Ferry all the way from Hell!

All of which makes for a fabulous read, particularly if you enjoy:
