This story is intense, fast-paced, sizzling hot, and romantic.

Ferry deserved that HEA a thousand times over! Can we talk about the lat pulldown maneuver, please? DYING. 🤣

Alex was annoying initially with his constant "I'm straight" pronouncements. Like, dude, read the signs! He grew on me, but I felt like the jump from denial to full acceptance was somewhat abrupt.

The sons of Lucifer are all up in this story, but we're introduced to new characters I'm fully invested in. I'm looking at you Danny, Matty, Sebastian, and Toby.

What this story is not is a standalone. If you haven't read at least a couple books in The Reckless Damned series, you'll be completely lost.

What I found irritating were the various references to M/M romance titles/authors in the guise of "oooh, it's for the book club!"

I felt like I was reading product placement adverts, like in articles/Instagram posts where they casually, oh-so-subtly (not!) mention a mascara brand.

Why though? Is the author pimping out their friends? It was exceedingly overt and pulled me out of what is supposed to be a fantasy story.

Dropping a half star for that. Please stop it!
