Hans is a GIANT CINNAMON ROLL and you can’t convince me otherwise. When Cassie brings over her terrible culinary creations he force feeds himself scarfing down everything in a single sitting 🤢 and this is by far the funniest and sweetest thing in the whole book! Him feeling possessive of all the food she touches is the level of mmc possessiveness I really need!!!

THE SMUT. AAAA. Perfect mix of mmc obsession and absolutely filthy ways he loves to make her fall apart. Their dynamic definitely has some Daddy/bg vibes with the age gap & when that translates to their sex life 😮‍💨 HANS JUST GETS IT!!! Also helped that Cassie was equally as obsessed with Hans.

One thing I’m really enjoying about the series is rational fmc (sometimes iffy in mafia romance) & NO 🛑 third act breakups. In this book I like how Cassie and Hans are not get into repetitive arguments over mafia-overprotective-alpha male stuff. Hello, this is a mafia romance what did you expect!! And Hans does some absolute unhinged things BELIEVE ME
