Audio: 4.5 stars, my first time listening to Dan Calley and Will M Watt, and they didn’t disappoint!
Book: 4 stars
Definitely can be read as a standalone!
I couldn’t tell you why this was addictive but I was thoroughly engrossed in this book. While I probably should have read the “Reckless Damned” series, you don’t need to if this book appeals to you.
Ferry and Leo were meant to be together. While rooting for them, they did feel a little surface level. Honestly it wasn’t too bad, there was just not a lot about Leo's past compared to what we were told from Ferry’s memories. I felt like Ferry was more fleshed out for that reason. Don’t get me wrong, I loved these two. They made me smile and I loved all the shenanigans that the other supernatural characters got up to!
I hope that Matty's book comes on Audio soon, but while I wait I'll pick up Lark Taylor's back list up!
