Great cover, but books not hitting atm, Fran. Going to keep going for a bit to see if it picks up.
This one has the grimdark tone/themes but leans more towards dark comedy for me personally. I highly recommend the audiobook, it is very well done and really brings the humor to life.

It felt like a grimdark Fever Beach. I was shocked how many giggles escaped. I think you’re also right that I should just go str8 audio with this one. Pacey is the best and does Abercrombie’s books so well. Thanks for the input and reigniting my interest in the book.
