Creepy. Mysterious. Enthralling. Alluring.
If Nocticadia had a baby, this book definitely would be the one. My jaw and panties were on the floor more times than I could count.

- well I was more interested in plot than romance tbh but is there any way to sign up for Professor Kincaid mycology student program?
- it was baffling and sexy af when he came into his pants but after knowing the plot twist, damn it, can’t blame him
- i always trust my guts and yes I was right about sympathising with Clayton from the start. My heart breaks for him
-Ophiocordyceps unilateralis OMG DAMN IS IT A COINCIDENCE THAT THIS SPECIES WAS ALSO MENTIONED IN NOCTICADIA
- It was brilliantly genius how Karina has scattered subtle hints and clues without disclosing any major thing. Yes I did read those after finishing it and WOW.
- “I’m burning up for you. You’re my fever, Syd. No cure.” AH I WANT TO BE LOVED THE WAY HE LOVED HER

It’s all becuz of ‘tetanus’ shots Sydney is being injected. Maybe they’re experimenting the effects of that fungi on students. This explains Syd’s loss of appetite, fatigue, hallucinations(or ghosts?) even past suicides and the secrecy and lack of actual lab research. Also they keep mentioning Sydney being special, she’s conveniently off the medications too"

yesss knew you would love this 🙂↕️ the scene where he feasts for the “first” time is forever etched into my memory. karina halle is actually a mastermind for the subtle hints she gave right from the first chapter and yet i still did NOT see that plot twist coming lol

@klinta this book changed my brain chemistry, I’d guessed half of the plot twist(check my update) but my brain could never had reached Karina’s level of thinkingp.s. I had to rant about it sm with you
oouuu I'm so intrigued I have this book I need to start it soon
