I kinda adored this.
It's been so long since I've read a good YA. Sometimes you just need a mood booster, and this one fit the bill. I am not afraid of having an imperfect heroine, in fact, I expect it in a true YA. My heart hurt for Liz, how in the world did her father not see what was going on with her? I loved how Wes was the only one who saw Liz for who she truly was. I could definitely stop here, but I've got to read the next one even though I know the main premise.
Also, if you are a rom-com buff, you HAVE to read this. I loved how each chapter opened with a quote from all of my favorite rom coms from the 90's and early 2000's.
