G.Cook's writing style takes some time getting used to. He often drops you in a middle of things without much explanation and it feels like you've missed something. Don't worry - all gets explained as you go along.
But if you like grim-darks, grey cynical characters, sly humour; if you like your fantasy full of action and character interaction with none of the boring food, scenery and clothes descriptions - it's totally worth it. :D

Antra serijos puse turiu trilogijomis ir duologijomis? (net nezinau ar sitas zodis egzistuoja tiesa sakant) Na zodziu supranti ka noriu pasakyti: puse atskirais tomais, kita rinkiniais. Bet tada gaunasi painiava mano to-read ir read sarase - tai nusprendziau visas suvertinti sitoj serijoj.
Be to ypac pirma trilogija - kaipo trilogija ji verta kur kas aukstenio ivertinimo nei pirma knyga atskirai.

Visgi ilga serija - be sustojimo skaityti tikrai pabostu. Ypac kai Cook'o rasymo stilius toks pakankamai specifinis.
Kai kokiu saldesniu romantisku tarpuose paskaitai - tai paskui Cook'o cinizmas ir juodas jumoras labai limpa.
Mano kometaras apie neturejima ka veikt pries Kaledas sarkastiskas beje. Uzsikasus negyvai. Skaityti is naujo tikrai nera minciu - tik suvertinu rinkinius kad mano lentynelese tvarka butu ;)
Haha, dėl Kalėdų tai kažkodėl taip ir pamaniau. ;D
