Four astronauts and two cosmonauts serving aboard the space station are living their dream, vicariously experiencing the dreams of others as they embark on the next moon landing, and witnessing the nightmare Mother Nature has in store for the Philippines. Stories are shared. Tasks competed. Bonds are made. At times philosophical, others observational, but above all memorable.

I find this premise interesting, even though this novel is "plotless" as people say. Glad you liked this one, Jonas, nice review! I have this earmarked for when I'm in the mood for a slower, more philosophical read :)

The novel sheds light on what they may be thinking. It also opened my eyes to the impact of (prolonged) weightless on the health of astronauts.

Though "plotless", there certainly threads woven throughout. It certainly is thought provoking.
