My name is Chance and I write mostly children's books.
Right now it's pretty obvious but in my writing I avoid coarse language, mature hankie-pankie, and blood and gore. I enjoy writing books just as much as reading them.

I do have this unusual nervousness around recording gadgets. I don't really know why but it's something I'm trying to deal with.But on the other side of the spectrum I am fine with flash-photography, public readings and even author talks.

Something that makes me different from other authors is that I like to collect and wear neckties. More specifically cartoon neckties. Everything from Bugs Bunny and Disney to Cartoon Network and beyond.

We need less love in the world.

Now that I have your attention, I would like to point out the issue with, “Love is love, and All you need is love.” (These two statements have been really bothering me for the past week.)

Love can be manipulative, abusive, controlling, and aggressive. Believe it or not I apparently cover this issue in my book, Edit Away. (I’ll get to that later.)
