My poetry has appeared in children's, university, national, and international journals. My children’s work is included in Chicken Soup for the Child’s Soul, Highlights for Children, and poetry anthology Words and Other Wild Things.

I’m a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and the author of two children’s novels and two poetry collections.

Before the pandemic, I served as the literature judge for my local PTA Reflections Art Program.

Bright and jaunty illustrations accompany this sweet story. Children will root for Lucille, the rubber chicken, as she finds her own honk--I mean, voice!
