I gave the US Army 52 years of my life as both a warrior/soldier and instructor; I am a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; studied novel writing at the University of Maryland--College Park; I have been married to the same woman for almost 52 years, and we have four children, seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren (and counting).
I wrote a military action/adventure thriller, an espionage thriller, and three middle-grade books before settling into combining two things I know best. I now write Christian/LDS action/adventure thrillers. A young couple who are taking one of Kincaid's college classes (at ASU) take a problem to him with which he, having counter-terrorist and personal security experience, can help them.
-They are both Muslim from the Middle East and have recently converted to a Christian church (LDS). Because of their conversion her grandfather (who happens to be the King of all Islam) has commissioned multiple assassination teams to locate specific Muslim families who have also converted, and to kill them as a lesson to the rest of the Muslims in the United States.
-Kincaid decides to take them to his family ranch in southeast Arizona to hide them. But spies are everywhere and they soon find out where the princess is hiding.
-From beginning to end, this story is a rollercoaster of excitement, danger, and suspense in which lovers of espionage and military thrillers can immerse themselves without having to cringe at the vulgar sex and blood of too many similar novels of today.(less)
