Defining Stars change four

Defining Stars have revamped their Counter-Strike department by swapping a total of four players.

The Portuguese team announced earlier this week they had lost André "sirius" Monteiro to skillmatics, adding Tiago "blacky" Castro as a stand-in for the Portuguese qualifier for 4Kings LAN.

However, with the tournament being cancelled after several teams decided to pull out due to the problems with the British event, Defs have opted to make several changes to their division.

From the old roster, only Joel "gax" Meira remains, which means that Bruno "just" Correia, Tiago "weapoN" Pacheco and Tiago "QUICK" Silva have been given their marching orders.

gax stays with Defs

Joining in are GTZ trio Ricardo "AIm" Almeida, Mário "n0rx" Pacheco and Ricardo "rmn" Oliveira and Thomas "MECCA" Moniz, who was last seen playing for SKILLEDAMN.

Defining Stars now have:

Joel "gax" Meira
Ricardo "AIm" Almeida
Mário "n0rx" Pacheco
Ricardo "rmn" Oliveira
Thomas "MECCA" Moniz

agree.. quick and weapon are great players.

were good back in the old times. Now QUICK doesn't care about CS that much, because he's studying. Weapon could be usefull to the team if he played as before, but still the new line-up looks promising.

yeah i've seen him for some years now, and he plays since 2004 i think. So for me he isn't new generation. You can call him a new talent.. but he was from the old generation. Now if you talk about rmn yess he plays since 2007. Ofc he's from the new generation.

Theoretically these guys can be top2 for sure, let’s see how they perform in order to it. They mixed up some fresh talent with some experienced players such as gax (mainly) but also aIm, so it's going to be amusing to see them around :)

I remember reading somewhere on HLTV(not sure who wrote it) that weapoN and foxj were brothers. Guess that person was wrong...

yep, he/she was. n0rx is foxj's younger brother. i think esoj(who played some time ago for portugal) is coachi's brother, but I'm not certain on this.

Defs now had a nice roster. rmn is a awesome player, and Aim are a second best tactical in portugal and gAx have a great awp. Mecca is great rifle and awp sometimes :9 GL
