"Vs. Game Over"[1] is a musical theme composed by Hirokazu Tanaka for Dr. Mario, where it plays in the results screen of the versus mode.

History[edit]

Dr. Mario (Nintendo Entertainment System)[edit]

The NES version of Dr. Mario marks the first appearance of "Vs. Game Over", and it returns for the same purpose in the Classic NES Series port. It is also included in the official album Famicom Sound History Series: Mario the Music as part of a medley with "Game Over" from the same game.

Dr. Mario (Game Boy)[edit]

In the Game Boy version of Dr. Mario, an arrangement of "Vs. Game Over" plays for the same purpose as in the NES version. It is simply titled "Vs. Game Over" in the Nintendo Music app.
