Summary
In this short chapter, we saw how we can use virtualization to develop SPFx solutions. SPFx code can run in an isolated container, and we saw four options for such isolated containers: Docker, GitHub Codespaces, WSL, and Azure VMs. It is not mandatory to use virtualization for SPFx development; however, based on the advantages of virtualization, it can be considered for development.
This brings us to the end of our journey on mastering SharePoint development with SPFx. We have made it. There was a lot of information to cover, and we (Franck and Anoop) have tried to provide the essential information that you need to get started with SPFx development.
