The Razer Wolverine V3 are the game controllers released by Razer on August 28, 2024.[1]

The overall design of the controller is largely unchanged from its predecessor, including the microswitch-based face buttons, 2-step trigger stops, and remappable shoulder and back buttons. The back buttons were now relocated from the near center to the inner grips of the controller for easy reach. Also new to the V3 is the use of the hall-effect joysticks. Usually running on the Standard Mode with 125 Hz polling rate, an alternative PC Tournament Mode with 1000 Hz polling rate can be enabled on the Xbox-compatible models by pressing the button combination of function+Ⲷ ᴍᴇɴᴜ+𝐀.

The V3 is available in four variants: the Xbox-compatible V3 Tournament Edition and V3 Pro and the PC-only V3 Tournament Edition 8K PC and V3 Pro 8K PC models. Both V3 Pro models use an included Razer HyperSpeed 2.4 GHz USB Type-A dongle for wireless connectivity and comes with a carrying case. The Xbox-compatible V3 Pro has a pair of built-in voice-coil actuators instead of standard rumble motors. All except the Xbox-compatible V3 Tournament Edition model comes with two additional joystick caps. The PC-only models has TMR joysticks and supports the 8000 Hz polling rate, but lacks the rumble motors and the 3.5 mm audio jack on V3 Pro 8K PC, and only the rumble motors on V3 Tournament Edition 8K PC.

Only the Xbox-compatible models are GIP-based XInput controllers, while the rest are XUSB-based XInput controllers. The remappable shoulder buttons and the remappable back buttons can be remapped either on-the-fly, or using Razer's own software suite (See Controller profile and remapping). In April 12, 2025, a firmware update for the Xbox-compatible V3 Pro model enabled Razer Synapse 4 compatibility while the controller is on PC mode, and also enabled it to use Razer's own Sensa HD Haptics. Razer Synapse 4 support for the Xbox-compatible V3 Tournament Edition model was enabled with May 29, 2025 firmware update for said controller.
