Force windowed
Download and run DxWnd. Click on Edit, then Add. Set the name and executable path. Set the window position and size for windowed or Desktop for borderless fullscreen windowed. Click on Input tab, set Cursor clipper to ON. Click OK, then File and Save. Run the game from DxWnd.

Bypass SafeDisc

Copy dplayerx.dll from CD2 to <path-to-game> Download unSafedisc + HowTo. Create the following temporary directory: TempDir: C:\temp\exe 4. Copy unSafeDisc to C:\temp\ (cannot be in the same location as game files!) 5. Copy the following files from the game directory to TempDir. theocracy-0.6.85.exe theocracy-0.6.85.icd dplayerx.dll 6. Execute unSafedisc.exe, press Decrypt Game and select <TempDir>\theocracy-0.6.85.icd - This will create testme.exe file in <TempDir>\ - Quit UnSafeDisc and rename the create testme.exe to: theocracy-0.6.85.exe - Copy the fixed theocracy-0.6.85.exe file to the game directory - overwriting the existing one! - Remove the TempDir as it is not needed anymore.
