👋 Hey Product Hunt! I’m Sanket – I’ve been building design and dev tools for over a decade (you might know NativeBase, BuilderX, or gluestack). Today, I’m excited to share something new: RapidNative. It’s a prompt-to-app tool that actually delivers: ➡️ React Native UI ➡️ NativeWind styling ➡️ Exportable code you can run, edit, and ship – today ➡️ All powered by Expo Just prompts → screens → usable projects. We built RapidNative because we were tired of tools that promised us prompt-to-apps, but delivered glorified webviews instead. It’s built for PMs, designers, and devs who want speed without sacrifice — whether you're prototyping, testing ideas, or building production-ready apps. Try it. Judge it. Reuse it. Would love your thoughts, feedback, and unfiltered opinions Thanks for checking it out! – Sanket + Team RapidNative

Great job! It would be awesome if one of the samples included a longer, one-shot prompt to cut down on back-and-forth feedback. Also, allowing AI to reference actual FigJam boards could help it better understand the creator’s intent—not just the design itself.

@seunggon_kim Thanks! That's a great idea, we were also thinking about Excalidraw!

Whoa, this is actually pretty cool! I'm *truely* impressed that it exports exportable code you can actually use – so many prompt-to-app things are just mockups, right? This solves a huge problem for quick prototyping. Kinda genius imo. How customizable is it for more complex app layouts?

Cruise Chen

I just tried RapidNative to spin up a small event-scheduling Expo app from a one-sentence prompt and was honestly shocked at how clean the generated code looked. Curious about how it handles larger projects though—say a team wants to integrate custom native modules or an existing design-system package. Does the AI scaffold accommodate that gracefully, or do we still end up with the usual “hand-off” friction when devs need to dive into the native layer?

Sanket Sahu

@cruise_chen Thanks for trying it out! We have tested it with up to 15 screens and it works well! It should work well beyond that as well, either way we are here to make it happen (maybe 50 or 100+ screens)!

It's fast because we use a web renderer and don't load up the entire Expo project, the support for native modules and native features are under discussion. Since it's a UI-first tool, design system is high on list for us!

For now, it is a hand-off tool but the bigger vision is to remove the hand-offs and make Git repo as the single source of truth!

No way—turning prompts directly into React Native & Expo apps? That’s exactly what I need to prototype ideas faster. Does it handle custom components too, or just standard ones?

Sanket Sahu

@joey_zhu_seopage_ai Thanks! We have been getting requests for custom components, we will figure out a way!

Congrats on launching RapidNative! At bestofweb .site we love tools that turn prompts into React Native and Expo apps.

Sanket Sahu

@nimaaksoy Thanks Nima! Appreciate it!

I understand that this version is Expo-only, but do you plan on offering RN apps without Expo? For my company (and, I assume, many others), Expo is a deal breaker.

Sanket Sahu

@catalin_braescu1 It gives React Native code, you can directly use it. It just works well with Expo. Btw, why is Expo a deal breaker?
