This pattern is designed to fit shrimps made with my shrimp amigurumi
pattern. Both vests are made using standard worsted yarn (weight 4). St — stitch
The small vest is based off a shrimp made with standard worsted Ch — chain
(weight 4) yarn. Sc — single crochet
Dc — double crochet
The medium vest is based off a shrimp made with chenille (weight 6) Dc inc — increase, you work two dc
yarn. Chenille yarns often vary in thickness. For reference I use a stitches into one stitch.
thinner chenille (think Parfait Chunky or Sweet Snuggles Lite) when I
make my chenille shrimps.
When making the vests, you may need to adjust your hook size
up or down based on your own personal tension and size of
your shrimp.
