 Installing the RTN 380AX and Microwave
• The RTN 380AX is installed on the back of the Microwave Dish
• The microwave is installed on a pole using brackets
• When installing the RTN onto the microwave, make sure the polarization of the microwave is correct
according to the planning (Link Budget):
 Both microwave’s polarization must be the same (either Horizontal or Vertical according to the plan)

Connections of the Fiber cable on the RTN 380AX:
• The fiber cable is connected to the COMBO port of the RTN and a water proof socket is required for the
installation of the fiber

The RTN 380AX earthing cable (PGND)
• The OT Terminal of the PGDN cable must be connected to the ground screw of the RTN
• The base ground clip of the PGND cable must be clipped onto the grounding point

 Installing the PI (Power Injector)
• The installation of the PI power cable is very important because if the cables are not installed securely in
the port, then the PI could be burnt
• The Power of the PI is connected to the DCDU
• If the DCDU is full, then connect the power cable to the CB
• A small portion of the cable rubber cover needs to be stripped to expose the shield layer of the cable. This
section is then clipped into the wire clip for security of the power cable
