Terrible experience with Amp — think twice before ordering
I ordered the Amp in October 2025 after seeing their ads claiming that shipping had started. After reaching out, I was told I would receive the product in four weeks. Four weeks later, they still had no idea when the product would ship.
I sent at least 10 emails and repeatedly contacted them through their app chat. Each time I asked for a delivery update, they couldn’t give me a clear answer. Eventually, they shifted responsibility to a delivery company called Last Mile.
After two months, I finally received an email from Last Mile with a tracking number — which did not work. When I called the delivery company directly, they told me they only had one part of the order and that a critical component (the shelf required for installation) was missing, so they could not install the device.
It gets worse.
As part of the order process, Amp requires you to send a photo of the intended installation location. I did exactly that. The photo clearly showed an outdoor area covered by a roof (protected but still exposed to the outdoors), and they approved the location.
In late December 2025, the installers finally arrived — and then refused to install the device in the exact location Amp had already approved. Even when I asked if I could install it myself, they refused and took the device with them, despite the fact that I had paid for it months earlier.
Only after I found an indoor location did they come back and complete the installation.
This is extremely disappointing. A company selling an expensive device — and charging for installation — should not:
• deny self-installation,
• dictate where you must install something you already paid for,
• or remove your paid product from your property.
And it still doesn’t end there.
Amp advertised a “Mystery Box” with the purchase, promoted as $250 worth of additional accessories. More than a month later, I still have not received it. At this point, the “mystery” seems to be whether you’ll ever receive it at all.
I’ve since noticed many people commenting on Amp’s Facebook ads and elsewhere saying they waited six months or more for delivery.
There are other products on the market with similar capabilities that are available immediately and allow you to install them where and how you want — without these issues.
Be aware: what happened to me could easily happen to you.
If you decide to buy this device, expect delays, confusion, and frustration and prepare for lots patience.

I love the Amp. It provides great workout and doesn’t take up too much space. It is a great piece for people with limited space.
Direct communication was a challenge in the pre-delivery but the set up was excellent and the equipment is great. There is no shelf to hang the accessories by which is my only complaint.
The product is great - both the machine and the app. The lack of transparency around wait times to get your machine and lack of communication was not so great.
It really works. The morning after, all my muscles are sore. The app is amazing. It tells you exactly what to do and you can watch the person on the app as they’re doing it so you can see exactly how you’re supposed to hold the handles and how you’re supposed to do the moves.
I have mine for three weeks so far and I love using it

The equipment not only met but far exceeded my expectations. I am able to work out during lunch (I work from home) and can create a specific work out for the body parts I want and it tracks everything. The tech is phenomenal and the quality is excellent. One of the best purchases ever. Kudos to AMP for all the features built in and attention to detail.

Was supposed to have an install back in March 2026 according to the facebook messenger response I got tonight. It is December the 2nd 2026 I've heard nothing from them since April of this year terrible communication I would not recommend this product due to lack of quality customer service.
Below is the message thread to Ampfit and direct responses from communication from Ampfit representative: This is cut and past message from Amp Fitness: " Hello Todd! Totally understandable — and yes, if you have a pre-order in place, you’ll automatically get updates as your area gets closer to going live. We’ll keep you in the loop every step of the way, from install availability to delivery timing.
Appreciate you sticking with us — we’re excited to get you up and running when the time’s right!
December 2, 2025 I messaged Amp Fitness asking for update on install date. Message stated the following: " Thanks for letting us know! I can see you shared your zip code earlier! I’ve checked, and we’re scheduled to begin installations in your area in March 2026. If you’d like to proceed with a cancellation instead, no worries, please just fill out this form:"
I chose to cancel my order after receiving no communication from Amp Fitness following April 15, 2025, and only hearing back when I reached out on December 2, 2025. Given this experience, along with issues reported by several friends who own the unit, I cannot recommend this company or its product.

The only downside is you have to be patient when you order it! It took me 5 mos to get and I’m still waiting for my mystery gift to show up! The device is amazing!

I love the product! We have been using it now for a week and it’s awesome. Waiting over a month was a little disappointing but okay, no problem. The installation was embarrassing. Neither one of the installers spoke English and used his wife as an interpreter over the phone. It was also very clear they did not have any appreciable construction or installation experience. It took a good hour to explain to them how and where to install the damn thing. I seriously could have done it better and faster by myself. The “White Glove” install was pretty rough seeing how they were not able to explain to me how to use it.

I purchased Amp and paid for it in full upfront. It took me several months to get product when I kept being told I would receive a call for delivery in next two weeks and it kept being extended. I was also promised a special gift $200 value but never received anything aside from the regular Amp package. Not sure what the was all about. It was a very frustrating and unclear process. I eventually received the product and am loving it.

Delivery was delayed from the initial stated date. And the installers had no idea what they were doing and they also left one of the top bolts loose so I’m stuck trying to figure out how to tighten it
