Horrible customer service!!
Horrible customer service!!! We ordered a Dreamline shower through Lowes. The shower was supposed to arrive 1.5 weeks later on a Friday. On the following Saturday, we received an email from Lowes stating the shower had been delayed for 11 more days! Were had a contractor set up to do the install for the original date that had been promised, so obviously this was a huge issue. I contacted Lowes, finally reached a manager that said they had no control over the delayed shipping and it was the manufacturer; Bath Authority, that dictated the shipping timeline. I was surprised to hear they had zero contact with Lowes or us until it was already a day late, and that it would be 11 more days. They obviously could have contacted someone earlier, but apparently they don't care about their customers or the companies that sell their products enough to do so. The manger at Lowes tried contacting Bath Authority (Dreamline), but after sitting on hold for 1 hr 15 minutes, she finally gave up. I am currently on hold now and have been so for over 22 minutes. Based on the irritating recording I've been listening to, I've only moved up 2 spots... so no idea how long I'll be on here, but their follow up and customer service is horrible!!! If their product is anything like their customer service, it will be a joke! I'm going to stay on here for a while longer hoping I will eventually reach someone, but most likely we will be cancelling this order and buying another brand that is more reliable. Definitely recommend against buying any Dreamline products!! UPDATE: Ended up taking 1 hr 22 minutes before someone answered the phone. They said the order had just been processed on Friday, 1.5 weeks after we ordered it. Told me it was at the freight company, but I couldn’t verify it because the tracking number didn’t work…so still not sure if it’s there or not.
