$10.5k down the drain. No resolution.
Spent $10k with them and while it looked promising not very happy with results. More times then not the moisture underneath house has been over their level they stated it needed to be under. Then I had them come out and they found nothing wrong they even increased what they told me was the “maximum moisture %” from 55% (sales rep…. See attached) to 70%.
An entire news area of the floor started popping up since they encapsulated. The tech’s theory was the lack of moisture caused nails to pop out… which doesn’t make sense because the moisture level hasn’t came down that much.
I made it very clear before doing business I would only do if it the floors set back into place. They agreed and proceeded on. Now I have to hire a flooring company maybe even another encapsulation company to fix.
Update: They sent another guy to come look at the problem and it turns out that the area of issue wasn't where they said it was within the house or connected to the initial issue. Completely deceiving. They also missed issues towards front door which might be causing the subsquent buckling.
Sales rep lied about us seeing improvements within "a couple of days" (per a SMS which is documented). The technician said floors won't dry out for possibly months.
And the hydrometer wasn't even working until this guy fixed it. Just very disappointing and dishonest.
