Customer Service x10
I work w an insurance company. I had to contact Copart about a client's auto that had not been released. Ms. Taiylor L. went above and beyond on a Friday afternoon about 4pm. She could have played it off, but she did all she could to help the client. She is one of the best I have talked to in forever! 5 Stars!
The worse company to used.
The worse company to used.
They gave me a day to pick up the car with an 9 hour slot from 8am to 5pm so I took the day off work and waited and they did not turn up or give me a call to say why they did not turn up.
Absolutely useless

I bid on a Toyota tundra for 1200 bucks came out to $2,300 after all of their fees that Toyota was in such bad shape they didn't show pictures of the back end completely full of garbage took me 3 days to clean out all the trash truck is probably worth about $500. Decided to give them another shot bid on a vehicle want it for $600 then they tell me that it has a reserve at $4,000 vehicle is probably worth 2000
The kings of nickle and dime-ing
If you choose to work with Copart be ready to experience additional unexpected fees. Copart runs a borderline scam using additional fees and auto renewal policies to swindle extra cash out of customers throughout vehicle buying and auto membership renewals. When I purchased a vehicle for $7500 from a copart auction I ended up paying an additional $1000 in various fees to copart to include lot fees after my transport company kept cancelling. The following year my account auto renewed and charged an additional $100, when I contacted copart to cancel my subscription and refund the $100 the company refused stating some policy where they refuse refunds to existing accounts.
Unreliable!
Drawn in by the highest offer for my range rover with a seized engine. Arranged collection which was cancelled twice and the 3rd date arranged I waited all day, called several times and was reassured that the collection was confirmed. No show and no call, e mail or any communication. Cannot explain how let down and frustrated I feel. Very pleasant call handlers just completely unreliable

I bid on a vehicle at Copart where the final bid was £3,050, however I later discovered that the total amount payable was £3,776.80, due to extremely high additional fees.
These fees were not clearly explained upfront, and I believe this practice is misleading, especially for buyers who are not experienced with car auctions. It feels unfair that buyers can end up paying a large amount for a vehicle they have never seen, inspected, or even fully understood the condition of.
In my opinion, the process appears designed to protect the auction company rather than the buyer. The terms and conditions heavily favour Copart, leaving inexperienced buyers exposed to significant financial risk.
I would strongly advise others not to buy from this auction without fully understanding all fees and risks. It is far better to inspect a vehicle in person and know exactly what you are buying. Descriptions such as “Run and Drive” should not be relied upon, as they do not guarantee the vehicle is mechanically sound.
Buyers should be aware that they could end up paying thousands of pounds for a vehicle that may only be worth scrap value.
Based on my experience, I would recommend avoiding this online auction, especially if you are not highly experienced with salvage vehicles.
i was the highest bidder on a vehicle…
i was the highest bidder on a vehicle in an auction ref 72941695 in wolverhampton ,the reserve price had been reached and with no explanation the car has been relisted and I wasn't even given the opportunity of a counter offer,an auction is an auction this is terrible business, the reserve was met and i was the highest bidder....why am i not now the owner?
An absolute life saver of a customer…
An absolute life saver of a customer service representativie. Cara at the Rochford branch unfortunately had the pleasure of answering my call. By the time I gad gotten through I was streesed, emotional, and probably incoherent. Having an accident that rights your car off is stressful enough however, after being fobbed off by insurance company and jumping through hoops & red tape making the process far more complicated than needed, cara remained calmed and took time to resolve an admin error and accomodate the collection of my vehicle.
WRONG INFORMATION & DECEPTION ON VEHICLE SALE
I purchased a HONDA CRV EXL 2024 model from copart on the 8th of January 2026 through a licensed agent. The lot number is 95565275
However after purchase I realized the car was earlier purchased by another person on the copart platform on 26th November 2025 in a worse condition, repaired it and reintroduced it on the copart platform for resale in December 2025. The lot number was 90014985.
This amounts to deception & non-disclosure as per the notes attached Copart concealed information from the buyer. Only damage to the front end was highlighted with nothing on the notes.
Very disappointed & deceptive on the part of copart

They came and took my car without calling me first so I could get my stuff out. They still haven't contacted me. I am half tempted to report it stolen since it was taken without my permission and I have a clear title and haven't even talked with my insurance adjuster yet. Im going to recommend that my insurance company find somewhere else to do business. This whole situation is incredibly inconvenient and rude. They didnt care if i could still pickup my kids without buying new car seats that I can't afford.
You have been great to me…after my car was written off before Christmas
You have been great to me my was written off before Christmas and a
Utterly dreadful company
After another driver reversed into my car and caused some very minor damage to the bumper my insurers referred me to Copart. If I had known how bad the service would be I would've refused there and then. Copart collected my car and their driver was very unprofessional, implying already it was going to be declared a write off and if I wanted the car back it would be a struggle. Lo and behold it was declared a category N write off but I insisted via my insurers that the car was returned to me. Copart brought it back 10 days later with yellow crayon scrawled all over the front and rear windscreen which they hadn't bothered to clean off. They had defaced the V5 document by crossing out my name and address. The cherry on top however was the lorry driver who returned the car promptly damaging it as he unloaded it. He drove too fast off the ramp and smashed the front bumper into the tarmac, causing a crack in a spot that meant it could not be repaired. The driver initially tried to deny he had done it. Absolute bunch of clowns, I will never allow them near one of my cars ever again.

I’ll never use em again!
If I ever have a choice in using them again in the future, I’ll decline. They ignored my request to update my mailing information. I assume they mailed the check instead of depositing to my account as it’s been 5 business days since they confirmed approval of payment. However, my funds should’ve been deposited two days after that. Yet here I am, no money. And they refuse to answer your calls. You’ll leave a voicemail and then they’ll text you trying to get you to call someone else. They avoid helping at all cost.
If I could give them a no Star I would…
If I could give them a no Star I would biggest scammers they will do anything to make money. They sell vehicles knowing that the have major issues which will effect the sale price which they fail to disclose when selling the car and when customers complain they say it was sold as is. My advice would be to keep far far away and warn others this company should be deeply investigated it's a scam with a licence to print money
