Our group enjoyed a tour with CHRISTIAN today. He showed us the old town with a park , several older buildings that now offer a nice park for kids and families, conference centers, meeting rooms, office space for working and small businesses. As he unfolded his story of addiction and homelessness, he showed us where scdicts used to hangout, use, and throw their needles. He talked about a government program to support sfficts and now the area is clean and safe for commercial and recreational use of the park by kids, families and workers

They tell their unique story so do not expect it to be a guide tour about living as a homeless in general in CPH

We had a tour last night with Phillip. He spoke to me and a group of 17 young teenagers and his story was very hard-hitting and well told. To see a group of children that age not using their phones, being engaged, and asking questions for 1h 45m is all the review you need. This was worth our trip to Copenhagen. Thank you.

We met Julie near the train station. My ears were hurting from the cold wind but Julie’s story of a full circle through and out of addiction had me listening intently. I was filled with optimism hearing about Julie’s resilience and strength and the people along the way who showed her great kindness and humanity, to push her towards health and her future. Julie’s story is a story all of us learn from.

An incredibly insightful and important experience. We walked with Julie and heard her story about heroin addiction. Julie’s honesty was very inspiring, and she welcomed all questions. I can recommend all to join a wall with Gadens Stemmer!

Thanks for sharing so openly the story and destiny of your young adult life in a chaos of rootlessness, loss, escapism, addiction and fight for survival. You are still standing. Now in a better shape and filled with will and hope for the future. I wish you all the best!
