I am an Olive young regular customer, i ordered probably 15 times and never had a problem on their deliveries up to now. We may have pureseoul shop now here in UK and i think i will be a pureseoul regular customer from now on. its just that since olive young added another 20% VAT on top of ordered items. Making their items way too expensive compared to Pureseoul and skin cupid. Saying this i am grateful for all the orders i had in the past with olive young especially when they got free gifts and during black friday sale was really a hit. Good discounts on their item plus discount coupons as well to add at the end of payments . But now happy days is gone as Olive Young customer, adding 20% vat is way too much. The items in pureseoul and skin cupid can match olive youngs prices but they will not ask extra 20% at the end of bill.

Wow, my friend told me that they’re scared of ordering from Olive Young Global due to such low reviews on Trustpilot. I couldn’t believe it what I see.
I’ve ordered from Olive Young Global 9 times between Nov-24 and Jan-26, never have any issues. The products have very far away expiry dates, very good price (compared to stores in UK e.g. Pure Seoul, Skin Cupid, Glam Touch, etc.). I put my trust in OY than other platforms (e.g. Stylevana, YesStyle) as it is a gigantic cosmetics retailer in South Korea.
OY have always used DHL as delivery services to me, and it’s been reliable every time. Most deliveries took 9 days to arrive to me, with some took only 6.
Refused full refund when order was rejected at UK customs due to their mistake
Ordered some moisturisers because of the great deal, spent over £60 only for the order to be rejected at UK customs because it didn’t have the required documents. Would have been a no-issue if they took responsibility, but they initially didn't want to give me a refund. Eventually had to settle for a partial refund; some excuse about how I had to cover the cost of the shipping (which makes no sense since it was their error, not mine). Would not be buying from here again.

Cons: complimentary item missing - it was unclear that the freebie was actually "out of stock", only found that out by lodging an enquiry and they said freebie were only available if I saw that in cart. But my other items with freebies did arrive even those freebies were not indicated separately in cart.
Suggestions: only buy with sales on, check if all "free gifts" are actually added automatically in your cart, or don't expect to get them.
Beware: Package Marked Delivered but Stolen – No Help from Customer Service
If I can give 0 star I would ! I am extremely disappointed with Olive Young Global. I placed a high-value order ($341.98) during Black Friday, and FedEx marked it as Delivered, but my package was stolen right from my doorstep.
I contacted Olive Young Global, provided FedEx tracking, delivery photos, and video evidence showing a third person took the package, but they refused any refund or replacement, citing “Delivered to correct address.”
I also filed a police report, yet the company still refused to help. This is outrageous, especially from a well-known brand. As a consumer, I feel completely unprotected.
If you are buying international shipments from Olive Young Global, please be aware: if your package is stolen, their customer service will not assist you.

Their delivery services is bad, courier waits for almost one month and I have to keep contacting the courier on my own.

Misleading promotion free gift confirmed but not delivered
I placed an order on OLIVE YOUNG Global after a free Advent Calendar was clearly displayed and confirmed in my cart at checkout. I completed my purchase based on that representation.
After payment, I was informed that the gift was “out of stock” and would not be included. Customer service completely ignored the fact that the item was confirmed during checkout and provided only generic responses.
If an item is unavailable, it should be removed from the checkout system before payment. Showing a promotional item as secured and then refusing to provide it afterward is misleading.
I expected better transparency and responsibility from a global company.

I don't think I will buy from them anymore since they don't respect Italian law. I feel scammed by receiving a bill of extra 36 euro from spending just 53 euro without a reason. Client assistant is below expectations too and they really have short arm as nothing extra like sample freebies were in the packet. I don't mention what kind of nightmare courier was. Better Epacket or standard shipping at this point.

I’ve ordered from the site over 6 times. It’s a great way to ensure the products are legit and the ingredients remains the same as in Korea. Sometimes it’s cheaper to order from Amazon but the product definitely feels different. Unfortunately USA has tariff now due to the new president but it’s not stopping me from ordering. Definitely read the description before ordering and not relay on the picture to determine what you are getting.
Extremely disappointing – no refund, no proper customer service
I would strongly advise against ordering from Olive Young Global.
I placed an order months ago but never received it because I did not pay the customs fee. The parcel was supposed to be returned to Olive Young, and I was told I would get my money back once they received it. I contacted them at the end of July and received a reply on July 31st, but since then I have heard nothing. Despite several follow-ups, they have not responded and I still have not received my refund.
This is not acceptable. I am left without my order and without my money. The lack of responsibility and communication from Olive Young Global is extremely unprofessional.
If you are considering ordering from them – DONT. If something goes wrong, you might never see your money again.

Supremely overpriced and it’s only until you get to the check out page are you met with $60+ in taxes and customs fees. Not only that they switched to FedEx for DHL which now takes FOREVER to get your overpriced package. Luckily most of the stuff I’ve been able to find in TJMaxx for way way less!

Ordered August 13 and received via DHL on August 18. Order amount was £50 after coupons and discounts. No extra charges -this was one of my main concerns when I placed my order, that I may be charged VAT.

Be very very careful when ordering from this site. It’s such a shame as I have ordered multiple times with no issues at all. I placed a other order which was £82 and then I got a demand from DHL for VAT at 20% plus another fee totalling £24- I contacted DHL and they said it was correct as Olive Young have selected that option for the customer to pay for the duty and VAT and also indicated that the order was over £135 in value (they add a £10 insurance fee that is not stated on the website or on any of my receipts or emails which obviously increases the total order “value”) I contacted Olive Young and they just said they wont refund for vat and they have no control over charges at all - this is absolutely not true. They have the choice to add VAT at the point of purchase which most other sites do. It’s such a shame but I absolutely will never order from them again
Money grabber
Olive young has became so popular that now it’s has developed internationally. When you go international it shows how well the company is doing . Or may be they are going too fast that they will may end up broken .
If you can’t paid the VAT customer fee for your loyal customers then no one will want to shop with you .
They tell you it’s out of their control how much custom charge. That’s absolutely BS. when sending packages to other countries they really should calculate all delivery fees and custom fees before posting. They can charge the customers, however it is not nice for customer to having to pay a fee when the package arrived at the country. Then they turn around and say it’s got nothing to do with them it’s out of their control and if the packages get returned back to Korea, they’re unable to repost or refund. so in the end as a customer, you will lose the money and the product.
They’re not even worth one star . I only put it in order to write a review on the company.
They asked for my apartment complex…
They asked for my apartment complex name when the fedex GPS records indicated that it was delivered to the wrong building to try and harass me rather than return my money or replace the items. I just want a refund because I can't trust them to provide my products. I'm scared they're gonna just give me an empty box or something. They just keep sending fedex to call me to find an excuse to not have to pay money back. never buying from here ever again. it was awful. This was customer harassment. I've never had this experience with any company. Amazon prices are cheaper btw. Check amazon in the future. At least the refund policies on there are still amicable.
I'd like to add: Despite admitting the package was delivered to the wrong location - I never got my money back nor did I ever receive the products. I requested for a refund and they ghosted me.
