BEEN DONE by HOME DONE
Just after Christmas I bought a recycling waste bin for my kitchen. I chose to purchase it from Home Done/ MHStar because they offered the most competitive online price. It came with 3 compartments, the main compartment on top is ‘senor’ operated and the lower compartments are draw operated. It cost £87 which was about £30 cheaper than other providers hence the reason why I chose Home Done. But the story that followed left me feeling like I had been DONE by Home Done!
My wife didn’t think that the bin was suitable for our kitchen so we began the process of returning the item to their warehouse in Nottingham. Because we had a ‘Change Of Mind’ about this product we were expected to pay for the ‘return’ shipping fee. They suggested that I use a comparison website called ‘Parcel2Go’ which I did at a cost of nearly £16 (including insurance). I later found out that Yodel Direct were the transport company chosen to deliver my return item. It now appears that Yodel have attempted delivery but cannot find the address which seems incredible considering that the full address & postcode were provided. Home Done are saying that they can’t confirm if they have received the Very Large package which left my property 4 weeks ago now. There can only be two reasons for its disappearance. The first is that it has been delivered but no proper record of receipt. The second is that it has been stolen by someone in the chain of recipients. Either way I still don’t get any answers from anyone and remain hugely out of pocket!!
You can’t physically phone these companies and speak to an actual human being. It’s all dealt with by AI robots. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING

Delivery exactly as stated, day, time frame and received phone call 30 minutes in advance. Very pleased with the chair I ordered. Only removed one star as would have been helpful if ot had been unwrapped from the plastic covering and that taken away as I am disabled.

I only received four out of eight legs with my sofas, I was informed by the delivery driver that they were being sent out on the day of delivery when he called head office. It’s now been 2weeks and I still have received the legs for my sofa.
I also emailed regarding the stitching being split on the sofa. No reply to this email as well.

I had a very bad experience with HomeDone. I ordered a wardrobe which arrived damaged and with parts missing. When I tried to return it, the company refused to handle the return properly and instead demanded £169 to return their faulty item, saying they would deduct this amount from my refund — despite the damage not being my fault.
Their customer service was extremely unprofessional. Phone calls were repeatedly unanswered, and communication was poor throughout. I was left with no meaningful support and no resolution.
In the end, I had no choice but to take the matter to the small claims court in order to recover my money, which should never be necessary for a faulty product.
Overall, this was a stressful and frustrating experience. Based on how this was handled, I would strongly advise others not to buy anything from HomeDone.

Wrong colour item delivered, after many emails sent I got offered a £10 refund and to keep the item which was the wrong colour.. then said it will be escalated when I declined the offer, so that I could return and exchange.. still waiting for a response... now just wanting a total refund as the customer service is poor!

I ordered Two L shape sofas, when they were delivered they were the completely wrong sofas, and also came with the wrong order invoice, I was told to call HOMEDONE directly, I got in contact with HOMEDONE immediately called multiple times and left messages with my details, no one ever responded, I emailed them several times eventually they replied and was told by them that my order was correct and if I wanted them to collect it I would incur a fee?they never stated how much this would be at this stage I just wanted them to collect so this ordeal would be over, they never got back to me and I was almost at the 14 day return deadline even though I had sent them proof of the order I originally placed and the wrong order that was delivered,I did get a call from a gentleman from the warehouse and he confirmed that this in fact was not the correct order, and HOMEDONE had sent the wrong order to the manufacturer HOMEDONE has caused me nothing but stress, frustration and anxiety, their customer service and communication has been absolutely appalling, my sofas were collected on Friday so I’m now having to wait to see how much I will have to pay which in itself is worrying I’m writing this review not to be nasty or horrible but to make people aware of what has happened to me as a customer and the toll this has had on me, because of HOMEDONES Mistake

Purchased a sofa from their website. Was contacted via text messages and random emails - both from different people trying to arrange delivery. So, so unprofessional and sketchy! Managed to agree on a date and time, only for them to attempt to deliver the completely wrong item. The sofa was a totally different colour and wrong orientation. I didn’t accept the delivery and was told it was my fault because I selected the wrong colour? But on the order from the delivery, it had 2 colours written down?? Took me over a day to get in contact with someone as no one seemed to reply to my emails or calls or texts. I had someone email me back, someone text me back and someone call me back..all different people working for the same company but all had no idea what’s going on with my order. Great, had to repeat myself 3 times and actually tell them to communicate with their colleagues! Received, what seems to be the correct sofa today. Only to get scammed by the delivery man who refused to leave my house unless I gave him £20 for delivering the sofa up 15 steps? Mind you I’m 5 months pregnant. Such a sketchy, sketchy company. I do not recommend. The prices may seem like a deal but it really isn’t.
These 5 star ratings cannot be real! Definitely some fake reviews here. Fake website and fake customer service. This whole ordeal was a shambles.
Update: the sofa that got delivered isn’t the colour that was advertised on the website. Instead of a rich brown (chocolate), it looks purple. Also the website advertised 4 seated cushions, mines has 3?? They are refusing to accept that the item was falsely advertised. I am waiting HOURS to get responses from thier after sales team.
They suggested that I pay a fee of £189 as it’s a ‘change of mind’ return. It’s simply not, it’s a ‘you advertise false products on your website’ return. They have also suggested I organise my own return (out of my own pocket) and once they have received the item, then I will get a refund. They are disregarding everything I’m saying. I have told them I will gladly take this further and also reminded them that under the Uk consumer rights act 2105, I’m entitled to a full refund within 30 days if the item does not match the description or image provided on the website and that it is a breach of contract so the retailer is responsible for covering the return shipping costs.
