Strong cutting performance undermined by poor reliability and slow support
I purchased two units to replace my old Toro 325D and reduce the time spent mowing a ~10,000 m² lawn. I considered Yarbo, but its European pricing was unjustifiable, so I chose this instead.
Initial experience:
Setup was simple and cutting quality is genuinely excellent. When operating correctly, the mower is precise and delivers a very clean result. Unfortunately, day-to-day operation is affected by recurring GPS errors (leaving work zones, entering no-go areas), unreliable Wi-Fi despite strong coverage, poor camera quality, docking failures, and unnecessary obstacle detections.
Reliability & support:
Reliability has been unacceptable. Across two units, I experienced three major hardware failures in the first season alone (cutting motor and wheel hub motor errors). Each failure required return for repair, leaving me without a mower for multiple weeks during peak growing season.
Customer support is courteous but extremely slow and poorly coordinated. Shipping labels routinely took 6–9 days, communication was inconsistent, and basic logistical errors occurred—such as being asked to send in mowers already received, or being told a unit was delivered to my home when it was actually sent back to the repair center. Despite repeated assurances, I never received repair reports explaining what was fixed or replaced.

Very poor Customer Service!
I bought a Mammotion Luba AWD 800 series costing £950 as a surprise Christmas present for my husband. Although delighted with it on examination he realised that the item is totally unsuitable for our needs. We have a small lawn surrounded by overhanging trees and there is NO outside power source. On contacting Mammotion they requested pictures of the mower and invoice details which Insent. Even though the item is unused and still in in its original box NO refund would be made because the 30 day returns rule had elapsed. I explained that it had to be ordered in mid November in order to arrive by Christmas. However, the Customer Services continue team continue to hide behind the 30 day policy. I feel very frustrated and badly let down by the company and have a very expensive mower which is of no use to us. Surely common sense must prevail?
They have received their money and seem very happy to leave it at that.

I encountered challenges with my LUBA 2 AWD 5000HX, particularly when trying to operate it several yards away from the base. Upon reaching out to customer service, I received exceptional support from Jennifer and Lea. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, they confidently instructed me to return the mower and all its accessories to Mammotion, with the return shipping costs fully covered by them. I was impressed by the staff’s consistent communication throughout the process, which made the return seamless and efficient.
Terrible Company Do Not Purchase

The power transformer has failed
Mammotion do not carry it as a spare part and I have had to pay a contractor to cut the grass
4 x weeks on and I still have no power transformer despite repeated promises to locate a power transformer and send it to me

My friend who recommended this product to me has since got rid of his mower due to the same problems he had with Mammotion and getting support and spare parts from them
He bought the new Husquavarna robot mower and is extremely happy with it and there support program
I have asked Mammotion for a refund on the mower numerous times in the last 2 weeks

Great support experience – my YUKA 2024 works perfectly again!
I had an issue with my YUKA 2024 robotic mower — it suddenly stopped charging and wouldn’t respond anymore. Even after replacing the battery, the mower still didn’t work.
I contacted Mammotion support, and they were super helpful from the start. They guided me through several troubleshooting steps, reviewed my uploaded logs, and finally arranged a repair. The whole process was really smooth — they sent clear packing instructions and even provided a prepaid UPS label for shipping.
After the repair, the mower came back working perfectly. I’ve tested it, and everything runs like new again!
Big thanks to the Mammotion team for their quick responses, clear communication, and great service - honestly, the best customer support experience I’ve had in a long time.

I was spending a lot of time mowing my lawn, and I heard about lawn robots. But I did not want to have a wire installed, as the shape of the garden changes frequently.
I heard about mammotion, and after reading the reviews, I decided to go ahead and buy the Yuka, as it had the option to pick up the leaves.
Ever since I installed Yuka, I never had to mow the lawn again! The grass is always perfect, and I do not have to think about it. Set up was easy with the application, and I had to change the perimeter a couple of times, as we added and remove some trees, and Yuka adapted to the new perimeter without any issue.
I highly recommend Yuka and mammotion for the ease of use, the application that allows you to remotely check the status of your programs, and see what is happening in your garden, that the “never have to mow the lawn again” satisfaction.

Great product, head and shoulders above other robot mowers. Easy to setup, and works great. Regular cleaning of the blades the only downside. Service has been great, always friendly and very responsive.

Mammotion have been great to deal with. we bought the Yuka 1000 with the sweeper kit and it has transformed our lawn...bit of a hassle to setup...but once that was done it runs perfectly - cutting 230m3 of lawn in 89 mins. our kikuyu grass was difficult to manage and always had weeds and winter grass coming through - but since we have used the Yuka - our grass now looks like a golf green. Because it cuts so frequently it prevents weeds from growing and spreading, and the kikuyu grows naturally taking over all weeds. we Have had a small issue with the Sweeper - but Mammotion have simply sent out another as a replacement.
Bang for buck its the best there is.

I loved the little robot but customer service is a joke.
Worked really well and did a great job. Easy to set up. We had the odd time he got stuck or needed some help but all in all ok. 6 months in his wheel broke and the rotor blades kept jamming. Sent him off for repair. That was difficult as local package place would not take him as to large for them but in the end they arrange a pick up and all ok. Few weeks later it comes back, wheel fixed but the blades not fixed and now has a large crack on the top. Emailed to ask for them to fix it and now I am stuck in a loop of tests they want me to proforma that will diagnose the issue with the blades. Ignoring my question if you fixed it when it came to you what did you in fact do? And the crack on the top. Before it was returned the first time I asked to confirm both issues were fixed and I was told it was a great question and yes both elements were fixed (great question sounds like AI to me).
All in all it feels like you are talking to AI or people who are not allowed to say anything that is not in a customer friendly prewritten text that means they will never address any issues.
So great product till it breaks after 6 months then its a very expensive garden ornament.
Update after this review they fixed the device and asked me to remove the review which I will not do. It is now fixed but I don't feel confident in the future and they never addressed any of my comments or concerns just fixed the unit, which they should have done in the first place.

Customer service keeps resetting the 24 hour response window when we call in for update.
I receiveved a Luba as a birthday present from my daughter and as expected was super exited to get started. After testing the unit and playing it with for a day we decided to wait til we had more time to setup properly. Couple weeks go by and and we decide to setup but now my unit will not connect to bluetooth device through Mammotion app. After calling we were told to troubleshoot and reset, etc. Going thorugh all steps we were then told to upload our logs which honestly was frustrating because we don't have any logs from our side because the unit is not being found in the mammotion app. We were told to send pictures in of the issue. We did all the above and were told that the visual module may be damaged and that it would need a replacement. We are still waiting on an update from the technical team after submitting the logs and being told that they had figured out the issue. This has been going on 2 weeks with no resolution. After seeing how much this unit cost I am highly disappointed in the service provided. If i had bought the unit and not my daughter as a present it would have easily been returned by now. Can't give an honest review on the mower iteself just the issues from service and warranty team.

The robot enters low-power mode while…
The robot enters low-power mode while on the charging station and then automatically shuts down. This means you can't connect via the app remotely. You have to physically go and turn the robot back on to connect and make a change. Apparently this is normal behaviour. 1-star for being uselessly remotely robotic. May as well require you to plug an iphone into it.
Other than that, it mows beautifully and effectively. It doesn't mulch leaves, so you will need another way to gather leaves up off the lawn.
