Golf bags left outside in front of building

I'm giving 3 stars because nothing was lost or broken in transit.
The scheduled delivery for our bags was on Feb 5th or 6th and they arrived early on Feb 4th while we were still traveling. They were supposed to have a signature, no one signed for them, yet they were dropped off. Our golf bags were left on the ground in front of the house in full view, the other two bags were in the alcove but propping a door open that is supposed to stay closed per the sign on the door.
We were nervous about them being stolen until we arrived. We purposely made sure it said delivery 5th or 6th and that a signature would be required.
There was also supposed to be three delivery attempts, so at first we assumed if it arrived early, we wouldn't be there to sign for it and they would return later.

Excellent service

I hadn't used this service before but I'm very impressed with it. My box was collected next day and delivered a few days later to my son in England....as promised. The most difficult thing was the customs declaration but I rang my baggage and was talked through it. Excellent service.

Hi Anika, thank you for using My Baggage. We can see you sent an item from Spain to Germany and this arrived on the 9th of February ahead of schedule. We're sorry to hear of any damage to your parcel however your review was the first that you alerted us to any issues such as this.

It is very rare for any shipment to arrive in a poor state as long as they are well packaged and protcted for transit inside a courier's network. We can see you have sent our team images of the box since we reached out to you about your review. In the image you sent, it does appear that the box was overpacked as the box looks to have burst from trying to contain what was inside.

We do provide all customers with advice on how to package their shipments for transit and advise that items should never be overpacked especially as they will be travelling in an automated network with other heavy and large items.

We are sorry again about this situation and would reiterate that it is very rare for items to arrive in a poor state if they are suitably packaged for transport. If you need anything else, please let us know. Our customer service team is available via email, phone and live chat.
