I purchased a Sony WH-1000XM5 headset from Norlys in May 2025. The hinge broke under normal and careful use, without any drop or external impact. What followed was one of the worst after-sales experiences I have had in Denmark.
I dealt specifically with the Norlys outlet at Ballerup Centret, which I visited around seven times to resolve this issue. The staff were consistently unhelpful, dismissive, and unwilling to take responsibility. Their attitude made it very clear that once the sale is completed, customer problems are no longer their concern.
I was repeatedly redirected, given conflicting information, or told the issue was “between me and the workshop”, despite the fact that Norlys is the retailer and legally responsible under Danish consumer law. No one took ownership, and no one followed up.
Email replies from customer service were slow and often completely unrelated to what I had actually asked. In the end, I was told to pay out of my own pocket just to get my own product back.
As a direct result of this experience, I have cancelled my phone, internet, and electricity subscriptions with Norlys. I have also shared this experience with my colleagues so they can make informed decisions before doing business with Norlys.
This experience shows a serious lack of ethics, accountability, and respect for customers. Norlys may be interested in doing business, but clearly not in standing behind it.
Update:
Norlys has responded with a generic apology but has not taken ownership or provided any concrete resolution. As the issue remains unresolved and responsibility continues to be shifted away from the retailer, I have now formally escalated the matter by opening a case with the Danish Consumer Complaints platform (Nævnenes Hus).
I will update this review once Norlys engages constructively and resolves the matter in line with Danish consumer law.

Still haven’t heard anything from Norlys. I need to cancel my subscription. You need to add a function to your website where one can simply cancel one’s subscription without waiting hours on the phone. You are making it intentionally harder to do, which should be illegal.

Title: Unexpected Subscriptions and Poor Communication
I bought an iPhone 15 and two AirPods from Norlys Ballerup and agreed to only two subscriptions (internet and mobile). When I received the parcel, it included four SIM cards. The sales employee told me the extra SIM cards were only for system registration, that I wouldn’t need to use them, and that I wouldn’t be charged.
Later, I received a bill for three additional subscriptions (279 DKK each). When I returned to the store, I was given different explanations each time, and later they even claimed I never came back, which is not true.
I am one person — it makes no sense to have four subscriptions and 4 phone numbers . I feel misled and very disappointed. I am still trying to cancel the extra subscriptions and return unopened products.

I’m writing this after a very frustrating experience with Norlys Denmark following the transfer of former Telia customers.
Norlys seems quick to charge former Telia clients with unexpected bills, without providing clear or concrete evidence to justify those charges. When questioned, the explanations feel vague and hard to verify. As a customer, that leaves you feeling powerless and taken advantage of.
To be fair, my main frustration also sits with Telia. Handing customers over to a company with complicated subscription structures puts people at risk of charges they never clearly agreed to or understood. That handover should have been handled with far more care and transparency.
You got me once, and that’s enough. I will not deal with Norlys again, and I will actively avoid any company affiliated with you now and in the future.
You might brush this review aside, but I hope it eventually forces some reflection. Customers deserve clarity, proof, and basic respect, not confusing bills and pressure to pay without solid justification.

Terrible company
Their contracts don’t include calls to other countries like all the other phone carriers. Ended up spending 2500dkk for no reason. Its my fault but their is no reason for it not to be a part of a subscription costing 250dkk. When paying that premium of a price I expect certain benefits. However, the company is jsut trying to burn your pockets
