Item took weeks to arrive. Refused delivery of the parcel as I was getting a bad vibe from customer service and didn't want to be loopholed out of my return. Had to chase on multiple occasions for my money back.

At one point they told me they'd be receiving the package in 10 days time and would inspect the item and then refund me. I sent a screenshot of them recieving the item a week previously. As I had refused delivery I knew there would be no issue on my end.

Glad I trusted my instincts with this one.

I gave it to my brother-in-law who loves gadgets and making music, and he turned into an ecstatic little boy playing with his cool new toy.

Awful customer service and awful device. App glitches. Latency issue on the ball. Add more than 2 sounds or change speed it breaks. Had to chase up my own order number as they couldn't find it then they wouldn't refund. Avoid.

This ball is really bad. The app constantly crashes or stops working, the sound library is very limited and the latency when recording somthing in is horrendous. If you try and make a loop longer than 4 bars the metronome freezes and glitches making recording drums or high hat sounds next to impossibe. As well as all this the companys website dosnt have a phone number and reaching out to the automated complaints and services department was joke. It tooks weeks of emails back and forth days of waiting for a response just to see that a new case had been opend and I would have to start the whole thing over again. I wanted to return the item but as it was outside the companys very short 2 weeks returns period I did not receive a refund and now own this little over priced novelty toy and would recommend that you do not buy one. Also for this price someone can pick up a nice little synth like the pharo mini or the JT micro. Now thats a better way of spending 70 pounds.

I ordered an Odd Ball as a Christmas gift. A week before Christmas, they told me it wouldn’t arrive on time, so I canceled. Despite that, they shipped it anyway. I contacted them and accepted their offer of a 50% refund if I kept the product. Weeks later, I still haven’t received the refund.

The product itself is disappointing—my daughter lost interest after 10 minutes. Combine that with zero follow-up and poor communication, and this company is simply unreliable. Avoid at all costs.

Update: After posting this review on Trustpilot, the company finally responded and issued the agreed 50% refund. Still, based on my experience, I would advise caution when ordering from this company.

The Oddball is a MIDI device. MIDI is a controller that requires software and Bluetooth to make music.

As a novice the marketing/videos had me believing it was an instrument. Oddball is more than my pre-teen children can handle.

Appropriately the return policy is strict. Be sure you understand what you are purchasing.

The materials are beautiful and the packaging is elegant.

I recently spent £80 with ODDballism, and my experience has been extremely disappointing.

Despite my genuine mistake in providing the wrong delivery address, I reached out immediately after placing my order to correct it. However, I was told that my order had already been fulfilled and that no changes could be made. This response felt dismissive, especially given their claim of being "happy to help" with delivery alternatives.

After visiting the incorrect address, I learned that the parcel was returned to sender. I contacted support again to request a replacement to the correct address, and while they acknowledged my frustration, they promised to look into whether a replacement could be arranged. Since then, I have received no follow-up or updates from them.

I’ve paid £80 for a product I have yet to receive and have only encountered poor customer service. It seems ODDballism is willing to overlook the potential erosion of their brand over what likely costs them around £20 to produce. This lack of care for their customers is disheartening, especially as I genuinely like the product concept - although now I just want a refund and forget about the pain.

I hope they reconsider their approach to customer service in the future.

Don't bother. Expensive rubbish. The connection between app and ball is too slow, took ages to arrive last year and not enough settings on it to have fun. Am impulse buy I regret

I’m giving this a 4 star not a 5 only because I haven’t set the item up yet and am speaking only to the customer service. I live in Canada and ordered this item on Nov. 2nd as a Christmas present. When it didn’t arrive within a few weeks I reached out to the company. I was nervous because I’d read some reviews of the item never showing up. Within a couple of days I received a response. While it ended up taking a full month for the item to arrive. The customer service was fantastic and very responsive.

I ordered and paid for fast delivery. It didn’t arrive as expected. I contacted their customer help and they said when it did arrive they would refund. I wasn’t impressed with the ball so emailed three times and finally they send me a returns label. I sent it back using recorded DPD drop off the very next day. I emailed 10 days later and they claimed the ball hadn’t yet got back to them. My tracking info showed it had. I gave them a few days and have now emailed twice asking where my refund is and I am receiving no replies at all.

Update: I received an email saying refund would be provided a day after posting the above. I then received an email from the company asking about my review and asking how they could further improve. My refund was processed and I have the money back in my account.

AVOID! 6 months of communication or lack of, bank disputes and still haven't received neither the product or a refund. Should have read all the negative reviews before purchasing!

I spent months of sending emails back and forth. They sent the parcel to the wrong postcode twice, even though I specifically told them multiple times they had the wrong postcode. I was forced to contact my bank for a dispute and the bank closed the case (not realising the issue with the the postcode). The bank gave me the £91 as a gesture of good faith. Dealing with this companies incompetence has been very frustrating, they've ignored emails, ignored my request for a refund and refuse to hold their hands up and admit their errors, instead, you're confronted with patronising replies (if you're lucky enough to hear from them at all). They will reply quicker on these reviews than direct emails.

It's a great product, awesome for events. People are enjoying it, having fun. I am glad we found you and this awesome product, it's good for our business. Keep up the good work!

I really wanted to believe all the marketing I saw about this product. But sometimes too good to be true is how it goes. As a lifelong musician and user of lots of different sound tech, I was disappointed with this product as it was not close to the kind of responsiveness and sounds that are demonstrated in the various online videos. I would consider this a kids novelty toy. Don't have expectations of anything beyond that. I promptly returned the item and after not receiving a refund two weeks after they received the return, it took me bugging them via email and filing a resolution dispute with Paypal to get my refund. Lastly, before I even received my refund, I received a "review bride" automated email by ODDBall offering me a $10 gift card if I would leave a positive review. Never a fan of review bribes as it then spoils the pool of honest reviews. So consider this possibly one of the few honest reviews out there.

Got the oddball about four months ago. Charged it overnight and used it for about 10 minutes with their awful app. I purchased an app purchases on my iPhone for this app (which are credits and I don’t like the credit form because you’ll always be short the money to get what you want or you’ll have money left over like a carnival or a street fair. Plus, I contacted them regarding this issue and how I put the same app on my iPad, but still had to repay for the same things I purchased on my iPhone. This should be one universal app. Also, if I don’t use the oddball every two days, the charge completely deplete and I have to fully charge it again to be able to use it. I have no clue how I would even connect this to my MacBook Pro or an actual DAW, but I’m trying to figure it out because the app to me is useless. Even with a sound card I don’t know how I would use this app to get the audio out of my iOS device – I have tried and I own six iPads, six iPhones, five laptop, laptops, and a studio full of gear. So I’m no newbie when it comes to gear or hooking things up. I programmed every stupid sound through the app – sounds for bouncing, sounds for shaking, sounds for tapping, etc.. all of that goes away when I go into the studio part of the app. I’m just not happy. Of course a week after I bought the odd ball it went down $30 in price (they gave me a whopping five dollar credit) that is not what is making me unhappy. I just think it’s useless and either I have a defective one that needs to be charged every use or I’m some odd ball idiot that can’t figure out how to use it. Either way – they should have a full-fledged app for DAW’s and definitely work on their iOS app. Also, I don’t know what the return policy is since I’ve had it for four months and I’ve used it 15 minutes out of that four months – I might see about returning it or exchanging it for one that actually hold the charge.

I’ve been talking to someone from the company about this trying to get it figured out. They have great communication but still no answers regarding the app and trying to figure out why my oddball does not work correctly.

This is such a cool thing! I love the concept and it's a bit of a learning curve to figure out different sounds. So much fun to toss or bounce around. I have to play with it outside away from my dogs because all they see is a ball tossed. This is a super neat toy to play solo or with friends. A must for tactile people and music lovers.

I got Oddball as a gift and honestly it was such a great surprise! It’s super fun to use and it gets even better when more people join in and add their own touch. Definitely one of those gifts you don’t realize you need until you have it Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It's an awesome device for all ages. Easy to understand a lots of fun to play. I'm using it with my kids at home and at work with handicapped grown ups.

I’ve ordered an oddball 11.6 - 25 and still haven’t received anything!

I text the support mail on the website but every time I get a reply from other companies how don’t know a thing about this and tell me i confuse them for someone else.

The thing is I never got my order (107€) and can’t get in touch with them! It seems like a scam.
